The Digital Equity and Anti-Oppression (DEAO) Lab studies health and mental health disparities among minoritized and marginalized individuals and communities using intersectional, contemporary, and digitally-relevant approaches. We are committed to investigating and addressing discrimination, oppression, and culturally-informed lived experiences as social determinants of health and mental health disparities. We are also poised to identify ways to promote culturally-informed empowerment and flourishing.
